Andrea Cesari is a famous italian Artist.
In the seventies he attended the School of Art “F. Gazzola “di Piacenza then achieving the Maturità Artistica in 1973 at the State Art School of Busto Arsizio. In 1979 he began his artistic activity in figurative tradition, deepening graphic research in the field of woodcut, etching and aquatint. Later this tradition will be surpassed towards more marked interest for works in which monochromatic, polychrome or material resonance fabrics are used – textures and absorbent/reflecting surfaces. The graphic field will never be abandoned but everything moves towards the non-figurative, with polytechnics and research more in harmony with those in fabric. In 1981 he attended the International Courses of Engraving – Xylography Techniques at the Istituto d’Arte d’Urbino. In 1987 he completed the Graphic Design courses at the Istituto Superiore for the Artistic Industries I.S.I.A of Urbino.
