Soleterre is an NGO (non-governmental organization) recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2014 it was transformed into a Foundation. Soleterre carries out projects to support health facilities and medical staff or, where they are lacking, to create health facilities adequate to the needs of the population. Particular attention to maternal and child health and care, fight against malnutrition, implementation of awareness and prevention programs for mothers. There is also an INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM FOR PEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY aimed at developing prevention and early diagnosis and reducing the level of suffering of children with cancer. Soleterre also menages projects aimed at protecting victims of abuse, promoting the prevention of violence and the elimination of all forms of discrimination, promoting social cohesion, citizenship rights and access to justice.
